Special Enrollment Periods (SEP) - The COVID-19 SEP has been extended to June 15th and the Tax SEP has been extended through July 15th. New enrollment numbers as of 4/2:

COVID-19:

Total enrollment: 12,220, 58% Medicaid, 42% Commercial health plan 63% of enrollments in 4 counties: Montgomery (21%), Prince Georges(17%), Baltimore County (15%), Baltimore City (10%) QHP enrolled: 67% w/tax credit, 43% under age 34, 72% enrolled in CareFirst plan

Easy Enrollment:

Total enrollments: 1,937, 70% Medicaid, 30% Private Commercial plans (QHPs)

The MHCC's Telehealth Virtual Resource Center provides information and resources on health information technology adoption and use with an emphasis on telehealth during the COVID-19 State of Emergency,

Telehealth Readiness Assessment (TRA) Tool now available online. The MHCC developed the TRA Tool to help ambulatory practices determine their readiness for telehealth.

The MHCC is helping to raise consumer awareness and understanding of telehealth through educational resources available on the Consumer Telehealth web page.
