HB 378 directs the Commission to convene a workgroup to study palliative care services and make recommendations to improve palliative care services. The workgroup will study: the state of palliative care services; examine opportunities to collaborate with key stakeholders; review the feasibility of financial support for palliative care services; develop a plan for ongoing data collection; and recommend engagement strategies for education the public about palliative care.
