Exploring CRISP Data: Best Practices for Access and Use
Representatives from three physician practices and a subject matter expert discuss the value and clinical benefit of utilizing data from CRISP, the State-Designated Health Information Exchange (HIE). Speakers explore ways HIEs can be leveraged to improve care delivery and chronic care management, such as incorporating HIE reports (e.g., radiology and laboratory reports) into practice workflows.

Primary Care Investment workgroup is a group of select stakeholders out of Senate Bill 734 that requires the commission to annually report on ways to improve quality and access to primary care services, with special attention to increasing health equity whilst reducing health care disparities.
The Commission must publish new or amended regulations and invite informal and public comments on proposed legislation or regulations during designated periods. Comments can be submitted in writing via email, and meetings are held to review and discuss the feedback.
The MD PCP Advisory Council was established to provide input on MDPCP operations. Key responsibilities include making recommendations, considering MDPCP operational improvements as well as gathering data from MDPCP providers and beneficiaries.
