The Interstate Telehealth Workgroup will study matters related to interstate telehealth presented in House Bill 670, Maryland Health Care Commission - Study on Expansion of Interstate Telehealth (2022).

The MD PCP Advisory Council was established to provide input on MDPCP operations. Key responsibilities include making recommendations, considering MDPCP operational improvements as well as gathering data from MDPCP providers and beneficiaries.

Group of select stakeholders, who will then produce an annual report with recommendations on how to enhance primary care quality and access. The Workgroup's focus includes promoting health equity, reducing disparities, and minimizing costs for patients and the healthcare system.
A group of stakeholders will study the quality of care provided by assisted living programs with nine or fewer beds. Their findings and recommendations, including any proposed legislation, must be submitted to the Governor, the Maryland Department of Health, and relevant General Assembly committees by October 1, 2023.

Health Equity Symposium
Challenges around addressing health equity issues are discussed during this symposium, which was convened in collaboration with the Health Services Cost Review Commission and MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society. Discussions focus on strategies for identifying patterns of need in the community, building referral networks for services related to social needs, and connecting patients to resources.
