3. ACTION: Approval of Organization for External Review of Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) Services: Maryland Academic Consortium for PCI ApprNew Link Textopriateness and Quality

   Approval of MACPAQ - A representative for the Maryland Academic Consortium for Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) Appropriateness and Quality is requesting approval of its system for reviewing PCI cases of Maryland Hospitals seeking to use it to fulfill the external peer review requirement included in COMAR 10.24.17.

4. ACTION: Appointment of Chair and Vice Chairs of Cardiac Services Advisory Committee

   Appointment of Chair & Vice Chairs for CSAC - Staff informed the Commission at the October meeting that a chair and vice chair would be selected after discussing the expectations for these roles and the process for nominating members of the CSAC at the first CSAC meeting in November. Staff will ask the Commission to approve the appointment of a chair and two vice chairs.
