Health Care Facility Services   Cardiac Care    Certificates of Conformance

Maryland Hospitals seeking to establish a new primary PCI program must obtain a Certificate of Conformance, unless the program is exempt from this requirement under Health General §19-120.1(d). Prior to the effective date of the revised State Health Plan Chapter for Cardiac Surgery and PCI Services, August 18, 2014, hospitals without cardiac surgery on-site were able to provide such services through obtaining a waiver from Certificate of Need review
