8. UPDATE: Maryland Health Care Quality Reports (Release 2.0) 

   The new Maryland Health Care Quality Reports website continues to evolve. Over the past several months, the MHCC staff and contractor, Advanta Government Services, have been preparing for the July update to the website (Release 2.0). The July release is scheduled to go live by the end of the month, but a test site has been prepared for your preview and comment. Enhancements to the site are highlighted below:

   • Implementation of AHRQ’s enhanced MONAHRQ 6.0 software featuring physician profile data and nursing home quality metrics
   • Using the CMS 5-star rating system
   • Expanded hospital pricing data
   • New HAI data on surgical site infections for colon and abdominal hysterectomy procedures
   • Modified homepage in response to consumer feedback

   The staff looks forward to reviewing the new site with you.

9. Preview of the Physician Workforce Dashboard 

   Staff will provide a demonstration of a Tableau dashboard of physician supply and characteristics in Maryland. This is the third phase of the Maryland Health Workforce Study.
