Fees

If the search and preparation of records for inspection will take more than two hours, MHCC may charge a fee in accordance with General Provisions Article, §4-206, Annotated Code of Maryland. Upon request, MHCC will provide the applicant an estimate of charges. MHCC may require prepayment of estimated costs or an initial deposit before processing a PIA request that is expected to result in an extensive search or voluminous records.

An applicant may request a waiver of fees in accordance with General Provisions Article, §4-206(e), Annotated Code of Maryland.
