All Maryland nursing homes and assisted living facilities with 10 or more beds are required to complete the Maryland Health Care Commission’s annual Health Care Worker Influenza Vaccination and Infection Prevention Survey. Under COMAR 10.24.03 your facility must provide the Commission with timely, accurate, and complete data. Under COMAR 10.25.12, the Commission may impose fines of up to $1,000 per day for each day past the due date that the survey is not submitted.

Maryland and facility-specific data collected will be published on the Commission’s Maryland Quality Reporting website.  Nursing home data is also provided to the Long-Term Care Services and Supports office for the Pay4Performance program.

For the 2022-2023 flu season, the online survey start date will be Monday, April 8, 2024, and the completed survey is due by Thursday, May 15, 2024.
