Notice of Proposed Action and Opportunity for Public Comment:

COMAR 10.24.17: State Health Plan for Facilities and Services: Specialized Health Care Services - Cardiac Surgery and Percutaneous Coronary Intervention Services

The Maryland Health Care Commission proposes to repeal existing Regulation .01 and adopt new Regulation .01 under COMAR 10.24.17 State Health Plan for Facilities and Services: Specialized Health Care Services - Cardiac Surgery and Percutaneous Coronary Intervention Services, which was published in 45:23 Md. R. 1081-1082 (November 9 ,2018). At this time, the Maryland Health Care Commission is withdrawing the repeal of existing Regulation .01 and adoption of new Regulation .01 under COMAR 10.24.17: State Health Plan for Facilities and Services: Specialized Health Care Services - Cardiac Surgery and Percutaneous Coronary Intervention Services, which was published in 45:11 Md. R 589-590 (May 25, 2018).

Notice of Modification of Applications in Review to Establish or Expand Hospice Services in Prince George’s County(“Prince George’s County Hospice Review”; Docket Nos. 16-16-2382, 16-16-2383, 16-16-2384, 16-16-2385)

The Maryland Health Care Commission (“Commission”) hereby gives notice that modifications to pending applications in the Prince George’s County Hospice Review were filed pursuant to a project status conference held in writing, in which all applicants participated. The applicants are Amedisys Maryland, LLC d/b/a Amedisys Hospice of Greater Chesapeake (“Amedisys”); BAYADA Home Health Care, Inc. d/b/a BAYADA hospice (“Bayada”); Montgomery Hospice, Inc.; and P-B Health Home Care Agency (“P-B Health”).

he Reviewer’s letters outlining deficiencies in each application, each applicant’s proposed changes to its application, any completeness questions posed by the Reviewer regarding the proposed changes, and any response by an applicant may be found at the following links for the applicant:

Pursuant to COMAR 10.24.01.09A(2)(d), “each interested party . . . in the review of an application shall have 7 days to file comments on the proposed changes made pursuant to the project status conference.” Only entities that were recognized as interested parties in the November 13, 2017 letter ruling by the assigned Commissioner/Reviewer may file comments on the changes to the applications. Comments by recognized interested parties (see above paragraph) on the proposed changes to any modified application must be filed with the Commission on or before November 15, 2018 at 4:30 p.m.
