An agency that provides supportive home care services, that is, assistance with ADL's and/or housekeeping services and may provide one or more home care service such as provision of oxygen or medical equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers and hospital beds. An RSA cannot participate in the Medicare Program and nursing services are not provided by RSA staff. The person seeking assistance contracts with the agency. RSA services are often paid by the person using services but may be paid by insurance under some circumstances.
