The Maryland Health Care Commission (MHCC), in consultation with the
Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, produced this Guide on Ambulatory
Surgery Facilities with the assistance of experts in the field of ambulatory

several health care reforms in the State, including development of information
on ambulatory surgery facilities. The Commission is a public regulatory agency.
In addition to the Ambulatory Surgery Facility Consumer Evaluation Guide,

the Consumer Guide to Long Term Care
